| Yang Family's first Christmas & New Year Card |
Today is the last day of 2022. We are now in Stamford, CT, for the squash junior gold tournament. But, instead of the traditional celebration, such as counting down in Time Square, we are on the way to our American dream and building it on our own philosophy and value.

Two weeks ago, we visited Phil to attend the 2022 US Junior Squash Open and saw international players' matches. 6 months after taking private squash lessons, it would be a challenge on the way. However, I appreciated Jolie's viewpoint: regardless of the resources we can provide to the girls, they can still do their best when this is their choice and love to pursue. From this high level, we will not be confused about the return on investment or be worried about being too late to pick up squash. At the end of the day, two girls will learn the value of playing or competing in squash.
Jolie also finished her internship as a medical assistant in Dec 2022. It means that she is the first person to get a certification in the US since I only have the Taiwan national board of MD and family medicine licenses. It is a really very brave challenge, Jolie completed the whole English course with lots of medical terms and had 160 hours working in our Acton Medical Association with local colleagues. This is an important landmark for our journey. Jolie can finally finish her NP training here and contribute again in the coming year.
I almost forgot to mention Emily's music concert this winter. After the hardworking for the marching band, enjoying the indoor music performance is really comfortable. There are so many students involved in the band, orchestra, and chorus. We are hoping for the next performance in a musical center incoming spring.
